Enercoop Normandie leads its members and develops projects in the Normandy region.
Enercoop Normandie chose the legal form most appropriate to the ethics that its first members wanted to give to the project. The status of Société Coopérative d'Intérêt Collectif (Collective Interest Cooperative Society) is both private and public interest, and is in line with the social and solidarity economy, an economic system that places people, and not capital, at the heart of the project. Beyond the economic activity, the SCIC makes it possible to associate those who want to act together in the same project.
Local authorities can enter the capital and benefit from the services of the cooperative.
